A run-in with a fan! (Gunplay was involved.)
I had no idea anyone outside our alliance was reading this blog. A few days ago I discovered I have a fan– by shooting at him whilst out on a roam with The Bastards. Since he reads this blog, I feel a bit awkward for tackling his Wolf with my Tristan, but at least we both escaped relatively unharmed. (My Tristan was on fire, though, at about 50% structure. . .) In any case, the following exchange in local chat is 100% responsible for getting this blog going again. Ardaeik Marconea, thank you so much for inspiring me to resume writing!
But of course, I’ll still shoot at you the next time I see you. I am a pirate, after all. =)

You know, your website is part of http://www.evebloggers.com, the Eve Online Bloggers Portal. There’s almost 500 blogs listed there, with around 100 people a day coming to the website to keep up to date with all the Eve Online blogs. Including yours.
The more you post, the more exposure you’ll get. If you post nothing, no one will know. It’s when no one’s reading that you should be writing the most. :)

Oh, I don’t even remember enrolling my blog on that portal. How weird is that? Regardless of how my blog got indexed there, I’m quite glad for it. (After looking at some of the others, though, I’ve realized that my blog looks quite plain. I suppose I should take some time to spruce this up a bit if there are going to be visitors.)
And thank you– my gang-mates were in battlecruisers and could not activate the gate, so my support was unable to help me. I’m rather lucky to have escaped!
